On Friday, the Camp switches from the Capital Building Projects to serving the youth visiting us while out of school! Scouting Units will bring out their youth scouts with their adult leaders and possibly their families.
We have Halifax District Webelos Woods at Camp Rybolt, a Troop at Group Camp and a Pack visiting in the Family Camp. Program is provided to these youth through our year round staff and camp/district volunteers. Plus Tipisa Lodge OA is hosting a Tipisa Lodge OA Native American Weekend at Camp La-No-Che. Our lodge invited OA members, Cub Pack and Boy Scout Troops to visit for Native American activities and a Pow Wow being held on Saturday evening. Over 200 people are visiting TNAW and enjoying the fellowship and Native American Activities.
It is cool to see the Scouts enjoying outdoor activities, learning new skills, having fun, camping and growing by building character and values.

The Central Florida Council BSA has started the most Capital Building Projects at one time! The Physical Resource Committee is working hard to complete all the Phase 1 building by June 1, 2008 before the 2008 Summer Camp. It is really exciting being the Director of Camps & Properties during this time at the Leonard & Marjorie Williams Family Scout Reservation. Our Camp Staff is very busy supporting the Phase 1 building projects and continuing the Central Florida Council BSA Outdoor program service to our BSA membership.
We hope that you share our excitement seeing where our Council is going with these projects to serve our Scouting youth now and in the future. Please feel free to stop in anytime that you are out by camp to see these projects and the youth program occurring through our camps!
